Peter, CRDH
Dental Hygienist
Peter has been with Punta Gorda Dental Care since it started in 2020. He started his career in dentistry in 2016. Peter holds a BA in Biology and a Dental Hygiene degree from Florida SouthWestern State College. A high school teacher who was a retired dentist sparked Peter’s interest in the field. Originally aspiring to be an orthodontist, Peter ultimately decided Dental Hygiene was his calling.
Peter’s patients appreciate the gentle but extremely thorough cleanings he provides. Treating his patients as partners in achieving optimal oral health, Peter offers suggestions on home oral care best practices. He is dedicated to creating a comfortable, comforting atmosphere to promote positive attitudes about dental visits.
Peter has lived in Cape Coral most of his life. He is the father of one daughter. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, weightlifting, watching football and baseball and playing with his two Siberian Huskies.
Casey, CRDH
Dental Hygienist
Casey brought 13 years experience in dentistry when she joined the Punta Gorda Dental team in 2022. For the first five years of her career she worked as a Dental Assistant. After earning an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Edison College in 2014, she transitioned to being a Dental Hygienist.
Patients can expect a caring, compassionate approach when they are treated by Casey. Casey is adept at providing an extremely thorough cleaning without compromising patient comfort. Seeing the happy smiles on her patient’s faces after treatment is complete is especially rewarding for her.
An Ohio native, Casey left the northern cold for the Southwest Gulf area in 2014. Casey and her husband have two children and a dog. In her free time, she enjoys reading and going to the beach.
Taiana
Patient Care Coordinator
Tiana started her career in dentistry here at Punta Gorda Dental Care in 2020. Her friendly smile and warm manner sets the welcoming, positive tone patients come to expect when they call or visit our office.
She was drawn to dentistry by her desire to help people. Tiana appreciates seeing patients get the smile they want and being happy with the care they’ve received.
A native of Massachusetts, Tiana has lived in Port Charlotte since 2017. She is a devoted mother who enjoys cooking and taking her daughter to the beach. Tiana is bilingual, she speaks Spanish and English.
Amanda,CDA
Dental Assistant
Amanda began her dental career in 2014 and joined our team in 2024. Because of her exceptional skill, she was promoted to Lead Dental Assistant in 2025. Amanda completed her Dental Assistant training at Manatee Technical College. Prior to launching her career in dentistry, she spent 14 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Her journey into dentistry began after a major life event inspired her to pursue a different career direction. She had always been fascinated by dentistry and knew her health care experience would be valuable in a dental setting.
With her friendly chairside manner, Amanda is a natural at putting patients at ease. She’s easy to talk to, builds strong connections quickly, and makes every appointment feel a little more relaxed and a lot more personal.
Amanda is especially passionate about oral surgery and absolutely loves creating anterior temporaries. Whether she’s helping someone get relief from pain or seeing the joy in a patient’s eyes after treatment, Amanda takes great pleasure in the difference she makes in each patient’s life.
Originally from Bradenton, Amanda relocated to Punta Gorda in 2021 to be closer to family. When she’s not at the office, she is focused on making memories with her daughter. Together they enjoy arts and crafts, movie nights and beach days.
Bramne, EFDA
Dental Assistant
Bramne, known by patients, colleagues, and friends as B, is a skilled and compassionate Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA). B is committed to making every patient feel comfortable and cared for. She graduated from the Academy for Dental Assistants in St. Petersburg and began her career in in 2022 at our sister practice, Lee Dental Care. In 2025, we were delighted to have B join our team here at Punta Gorda Dental Care.
Holding certifications in EFDA, Radiology, CPR/AED, and Bloodborne Pathogen Training, B is well-equipped to assist in a wide range of dental procedures. She is especially skilled at helping anxious patients feel at ease and is known for her professional yet warm demeanor. Understanding that many people feel nervous about dental visits, she strives to create a calming and positive experience, ensuring every patient leaves feeling more confident about their smile.
For B, the most rewarding part of her job is seeing patients happy with their treatment results—especially those who were initially hesitant or fearful. She takes pride in her ability to build trust with patients, listen to their concerns, and provide reassurance throughout their dental journey.
A Florida native, B is a first generation Cuban American. She loves embracing the beauty of her home state by spending time at the beach, taking nature walks, and painting. She also enjoys relaxing with her beloved dog, Lucy.
